Low-frill flights means no excess baggage, no complimentary food, no luxury services but at the same time they risk your life with cheap flight crew sometimes mentally sick pilots

When it comes to travelling from one city to another or anywhere in the world, people usually prefer the cheap flights to save money. Thinking behind this action – when domestic – it saves time with little bit extra money, but at the same time, it is a serious risk for their life.

These cheap flights do not run on water which is cheaper than fuel, and even use the same route that of luxury flights. So where do they axe the operational costs to make such flights viable? These flights usually do not offer complimentary food, no drinks and do not offer even standard baggage allowance for the passengers. These flights usually handle large amount of air cargo for some extra money.

Secondly, the health of the air carrier and the flight crew, do these flight operators force their crew to fly long hours without their consent? Without checking their health and fitness levels, without measuring fatigue, depression, stress levels and other psychological issues.

It does not clear anything, until flight noses down in any mountain range after taking-off. But now after the killing of 150 passengers who have chosen the low-frill flight as their last flight, it is very clear that there is not any set standard to overcome these issues.

The German wings flight 4U9525 crashed into the French Alps while heading towards Dusseldorf from Barcelona. About 150 passengers were onboard including the flight crew, all dead. Authorities has claimed that the co-pilot Andreas Lubitz has deliberately destroyed the airbus A320 and also targeted the beliefs of a specific religion by saying that the co-pilot was not an extremist there was not any evidence found that he had any promise card of afterlife luxuries. Then what encouraged the pilot to nose down the flight towards earth when he was at 38,000 ft above the earth? Having loads of cargo and 150 precious lives.

The answer is very simple, it was depression! Andreas had a history of panic attacks, even during his training period. Why he was not examined, when officials were aware of his health issues? Why the 150 lives of passengers handed over to him, when chief pilot was available? Why the flight 4U9525 is titled as the last flight by us, there are thousands of flights still landing and taking off from Germany and France?

All these questions still require answers but I am sure that the airline authorities cannot be bothered and we do not know how many of these kind of killers are still flying the flights?

It is very favorable moment for the airline operators to take a pause and think that how many killers still they have in their crew?
