Road transportation is directly affected by severe weather conditions

Seasons affect cargo business in Pakistan

Seasons are the natural phenomenon and necessary for the survival of all livelihoods. Business and trade are also influenced by the seasons. In Pakistan, you will find four lush seasons. In all seasons, the routine of life goes on but some seasonal effects are still there that affect human beings and their trades and normal routine as well. In winters, some businesses are at their peak and some ones are closed for the next upcoming summer season.

In the summer season, some of the tradesmen live in coins and waiting golden time in the winter. Trade and cargo business also affected by harsh seasons in Pakistan. Cargo and transportation business effects by both harsh kinds of weather.

Due winter road routes are blocked due to fog and snow fall

In Pakistan, the winter season is not more than two or three months but when it is at its peak. It challenges the cold weather of Europe and England. In winter season of Pakistan, road transportation and Air Cargo traffic disturbs due to heavy fog and snow falling in some locality. Pakistan is a country in which road transportation is the most effective way of transporting goods from one place to the other.

When roads are blocked due to fog and it’s difficult to get goods from one station to the other then cargo business goes down and it affects the economy directly. When transportation of goods and cargo business goes down stream due to winter and snowy season in Pakistan, the prices of things go up due to the scarcity of the necessities of life. Harsh weather directly affects the lives of human beings in Pakistan.

Harsh and blazing hot season also disturbs the cargo business

Summer in Pakistan is the longest season and consists of approximately eight months. Three and four months are the harshest one in these days go outside for work is not less than to pour your face into hell. The transportation department is directly influenced by this season. At day time, it is not possible to drive on the major roads of the country, so cargo business of Pakistan effects in these days. Cargo to Pakistan transportation tries its level best to manage all dimensions during night travelling but markets remain open day time and close at night so the availability of cargo and goods are less than in routine.

Transporter doesn’t want to go out with their vehicles in open sun to avoid the direct sun which can destroy not only their health but also harmful for their vehicles. The burst of tires is a common problem in summer on main roads, so to avoid loss night is the best to travel. But day light has its own benefits. Harsh summer restricts the business activity in most of the part of the country.

Lack of facilities also does matter

Pakistan is an under developed country where lack of facilities that we can find in Europe and other developed nations, so harsh weather conditions play as they will with the people and their business. Lack of facilities does matter and the economy suffers a lot due to the un- awareness of these facilities. For example in Europe and other winter areas, the facilities are there to meet that challenges and there is nothing impossible in any kind of harsh weather.

In Gulf areas where desert gives the tough time for all and especially for transportation department there is a tough time but vehicles are designed and to move in these harsh weather conditions. Roads are clear all the time for transportation in Europe and other harsh weather countries. In Pakistan lack of facilities are available on the main roads of the country that affects the cargo business and transportation department. Transportation department of any country needs the care to move on all the time but in Pakistan, this department is neglected though this is the back bone of the economy. If the wheel of transport moves on, then the wheel of the economy moves on.

Ports are live 365 days of the year in Pakistan but transportation of cargo is restricted due to harsh weather

Pakistan is a country with natural ports and ports remain open the whole year with good working conditions. Cargo business and goods business on ports is still there 365days of the year but the harshness of the weather affects the road transportation network badly so this country can’t get the full advantage of their open ports and economy goes down due to harsh seasonal effects. Road network is the most vital way of transportation of goods and for cargo business. In harsh weather conditions, it is directly affected so cargo business fluctuates and tumbles due to these circumstances.

Railway cargo network is not as strong as it should be in Pakistan

Roads are vital in Pakistan, but railway network is neglected completely by the government as well the people. Railway cargo network is very important for any country to move to its economy. In Pakistan, this department is not in use as it should be. It is the safest way to transport things from one place to the other place of the country if it works well. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, this department has been derived from its worth. Railway cargo and carriage is in lead all over the world in Cargo business, but in Pakistan, circumstances are totally changed.

Trains are considered to be the most passive of transportation in all departments, so client doesn’t want to take this facility and goes towards road transportation. If the government gives importance to the railway for cargo or transportation of goods, then it will generate good revenue for the country and moves on the whole year. If harsh weather affects road transport network and disturbs the cargo or transportation business, on the same hand the railway network is the strongest network of any country to move its cargo or transportation from one place to the other place of the country. Pakistan railway has strong cargo routes but it is the responsibility of the government to reopen these routes to facilitate its people to transport their goods and cargo.
