Top freight forwarders set their name in the list of Air Cargo World’s List of Top 25 Freight Forwarders. Top freight forwarder companies are DHL Global, DB, FedEx and Expeditors etc. They are playing competently in the field of cargo.

These cargo operators are grouped up at the mountain top, exercising striking income and tonnage totals. Some firms were prominent in freight forwarding last year, such as Dimerco Express, DSV and GEODIS. These firms have practiced a significant growth in cargo moved in 2014. Armstrong and Associates, Inc. have made a list of top 25 forwarders of the world. The company said that these cargo companies are following the theme of large and small to increase their popularity.

One can understand that those with cohesive ideas seem to be the leader in any field, and same is the cargo business. The companies that have their own warehouses and are doing like global integrators- are looking top on the list.

Few other new companies have also entered into the race of being mighty. Although, these companies seem stranger in this field but ‘Power 25’ welcome these companies in top 25 Forwarders chart. And these companies are FedEx, Trade Network, Hitachi Transport System and Pilot Freight Services. There are few important names that are not present in 25 forwarders list like C.H Robinson, Toll Holdings and Pantos Logistics etc.

The power of size still matters and there is no denying the size. In forwarding business 10 big companies presently regulate the 35 percent of the international market. DHL Supply Chain and Global Forwarding is standing at top of the list of 25 Power Forwarders with US$35 billion and controlled 4.5 million tons air freight in 2014.

KUEHNE + Nagel is at second position with 3 percent growth in revenues to $23.29 billion. DB Schenker Logistics is at number three in the list with 2.5 percent increase in revenues to $1.11 billion. According to 2014 calculations, Expeditors International was at seventh position but it continued with its mighty growth and increased its revenues by 8 percent to $6.57 billion and handled 823,000 tonnes of airfreight.
