The plane was on its way to East Midlands when it had to land at Aberdeen international airport due to some unspecified issues. Plane was scheduled to be landed at the Derbyshire airport at 8 pm but crew of the cargo plane declared mid-flight emergency around Abroath and landed at Aberdeen International Airport at 8:15 pm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Scottish airport media sources said that the flight landed safely and all the crew is mentally and physically stable. The flight was stood down by 8:20 pm for the inspection purposes of declaring the emergency.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was an Atlantic <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cargotopakistan.co.uk\/air-cargo.php\" target=\"_blank\">Air cargo<\/a><\/strong> flight and there were no passengers on board but the crew members of the flight. Another spokesperson on Aberdeen International Airport told media that Eastern Airways flight EZE502 from Scatsta was involved in the incident at the airport but it is a normal thing for any flight to declare emergency if they feel that the flight is not behaving according to the normal procedures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Airport spokesperson also confirmed that the flight was repositioned towards the Aberdeen International Airport from Scatsta when the crew felt an unusual odour in the cockpit. The crew suspected that it was some kind of gas from cargo area of the flight. The aircraft was landed safely with all the three crew members on board. After landing the plane was taxied to its allocated parking stand securely.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Three Scottish rescue teams were called on the spot with fire engines and rescue appliances, all from Dyce, Altens and North Anderson drive stations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An immediate investigation team has been appointed to find out that what actually happened in the cockpit, engineers are investigating the flight mechanism and all other equipment. Almost all flight operators are very concerned about these kind of incidents after the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/worldnews\/europe\/france\/11491587\/Airbus-A320-crashes-in-French-Alps-with-148-people-on-board-live.html\" target=\"_blank\">crash of German airline flight in France<\/a><\/strong>, that was carrying more than 150 passengers on board, all left dead.
